The man talking is big, looks like an overstuffed kid. LEON it says on his breast pocket. He's dressed in a warehouseman's uniform and his pudgy hands are folded expectantly in his lap. Despite the obvious heat, he looks very cool...

Nature: Replicant. Mental Capabilities: C - Class

Leon hides his identity by taking a job at Tyrell Corp. The story starts with Leon shooting blade runner Holden, demonstrating his ruthlessness. He avoids his Voigt-Kampff test results in the manner of an engineering grad student

Deckard and his partner Gaff find some pictures in Leon's room at the Yukon hotel.. Distressed over the loss of his "precious photos", Leon teams up with Batty, tracking down and almost killing the Blade Runner. Rachael shoots him saving Deckard's life.

Brion James played Leon's character along with many other film appearances such as: Battlestar Galactica, Southern Comfort and The Player.

"Even with only a C-class intelligence, Leon was vastly superior to human beings, and it seems to me that this is shown during Holden's test".

In the scene where Leon attempts on Deckard's life, he says: "Wake up, it's time to die". This phrase was invented by Brion James himself. "It wasn't in the script. The script wanted Rachael to shoot Leon from behind, but Ridley wanted something better. So I said: 'Since Deckard is almost senseless, why don't I wake him up and tell him I'm going to kill him?' ".
