TESLA’S EXPERIMENTS

  Function
Set of instruments for Tesla’s experiments on high frequency.
Maker:
Officine Galileo - Florence
Price: L 1300 Purchase date: 1931

  Description
For Tesla’s experiments we have the following apparatus: a battery of two parallel capacitors with a spark gap with zinc tips. The spark gap is protected by an ebonite turning drum, with lateral opening for the regulation. All the connections are made with a covered and rubberised thick wire and are assembled on ebonite columns. The basis leans on porcelain insulators.
The primary of the transformer is made with few turns (10-11) of thick rubberised wire wound around an insulating coil. The secondary is represented by two coils, with different windings, made with tubular cores.
