EGNATIA
Mentioned from Strabone and from Plinio, the city has very ancient origin: the wall up are of the V sec. a. C.n.
It had crossed by the way Appia Traiana one of the connections more trafficked between Rome and Brindisi. There is the museum, the necropolis, the excavations etc.
