LEGS - The legs are the most problematic part of this model. The heavy weapon system that this mobile suit holds on its back, gives the model a very precarious stability, making a fall backwards almost inevitable. To remedy this situation, I inserted inside the lower parts of the legs two heavy iron nuts, which fit right in the space left between the feet and the knee joints. Another problem are the feet, which have a very limited movement allowed. I solved this problem moving each foot junction with the leg down for about 5 mm. Actually it's quite easy, because, as anybody can see having the model in his hands, there are already the holes where to insert the foot junction pegs. In the upper part I opened a large hole for the b-joint connecting the leg with the lower body. New soles and a few opened air intakes completed the task.

WEAPONS - Of all the weapons and paraphernalia that this mobile suit carries along the one that I modified more is the shield. I started opening two air intakes in the front and I went on redoing the entire backside, with new openings and a couple of new parts. The bazooka and the beam rifle needed only some cleaning and refining.

PAINTING - I used as usual Humbrol paints and normal brushes. The main colors are Satin White (HUMBROL HM 130) and Non Specular Sea Blue (HUMBROL HU 4, now Navy Blue HM 77). The matt blue surfaces were later covered with satin varnish.
