Analysis
by Pro Football Weekly:
Notes:
Has played wide receiver, tight end, H-back and fullback and was basically
a combination player in the Yale offense. Also used as the team's punter.
Caught four passes for 55 yards and no touchdowns as a freshman in 1997,
24-224-0 in '98, 67-858-9 in '99 and 86-1,007-14 while winning All-Ivy
League honors in 2000.
Positives: Very productive
receiver at this level who improved every year. Has soft hands, good concentration
and a feel for the soft spots in the zone. Can be a backup punter.
Negatives: Lacks size
as a tight end and speed as a wide receiver. Very average blocker for an
H-back. Can punt but is not an NFL-caliber No. 1 punter.
Summary: Needs to
land with a team that wants a pass-catching H-back.
