This example is a file seeker tool. You enter a pattern, a starting position, and the program will search in all subfolders for files matching the pattern.
This project contains only a form with two textboxes and a listbox. In the textboxes you enter the starting position for search (i.e. C:\My Documents) and the search pattern (i.e. *.Doc). The core of the project is a Sub, named DirWalk, called by a command button. That sub explores the folder structure using two hidden Directory and File controls, and fills an array with the matching files.
Simply unpack ZIP file in a custom directory, run the project and/or compile it.
