This shows how to load a cursor from a file and use it with your application. It's not perfect, but it'll work for you. The peculiarity of the method used here, is that you can load both standard and animated cursors (.Ani), wich are not allowed by the VB MouseIcon property.
This sample will load an animated cursor (if one exists) from C:\Windows\Cursors and make the default cursor = that animated cursor.
The project is made up of one form. Simply unpack ZIP file in a custom directory, run the project and/or compile it.
