As planned at the beginning of this year, i downloaded the Free Embedded CE tools to
translate some programs of mine in that language.
As you know, I usually program using NSBasic and i always think that it is a goods tool
to develop little and useful programs but, even if my programs respect my idea to install
them without any installation routine,(only copying them in CE unit) you will need anyway
to install the NSBasic Runtime.
As the memory of a CE unit is not so large somebody can not like to install (to trial only)
some code that may be difficult to delete.
It is not a problem to 'compile' the program for various versions to cover all the CPU used
because the install Wizard is very easy to use and offer uninstalling option that will enable
the user to try the program with less problems.

I posted 3 separate SetUp files to download instead of the
previous single installation file.
As now any setup file contain also the relative Runtime files
they appear bigger but this prevent you from any problem on
installing program if you have not all the required files in
your Pocket PC unit.(if you already have the runtime installed
the space used on your unit will be drastically reduced.
So if your PPC prompt you on installation that some Dll or
Script file are already installed and ask you to confirm to
replace it you can reply NO without problems.
TO UPDATE PREVIOUS VERSION:
The surest thing to do is to unistall the previous version and
install the updated program (in this case it is better to use
REGFIX (freeware) to avoid problems) . The second way is simply
to overwrite the old version with the Updated one. And this is the
reason because you will find the single .Vb file also to download.
(I am sure that all run fine but i have not tried to unistal the program
after this change.)
SH3 programs are unchecked because i have no units with such Cpu
I will be glad to get your feedback to know if all runs correctly
because.... Dont Forget! on the programmer machine all runs
always OK but later ..........

on the screen and this allows also to reduce the program dimension of about 5Kb
notwithstanding the new added features.
Few additional information:
No help or Readme file is included at this time into the zip files that you can
download. Anyway the program is easy to use and the relevant informations
are available on the screen also.
Anyway i quickly resume here the base instructions even if they are quite
similar to the ones of the previous versions.
SELECT A FUNCTION: use the combo box on top as soon the program prompt
you 'System Loaded READY'
FUNCTION 'FIND' : Allows user to find all files for extention or a sigle file
by name (Jolly * supported) .
Insert the name you are searching or use the preloaded
Combo list's items, then press Start Search
The program will show also the full path of the file(s)
and the options to Move, Copy or Rename a file.
To use them select the relative Option Button, select
a file, thence in the Dir tree that pop up choice the new
destination folder, confirm at the prompt advice and all
is done.
To rename a file you get a text box showing the selected
file name. Modify the name and tap on 'Confirm Rename'
button above.
FUNCTION 'SEE DIRS' :Act as a common file manager with two windows.
A tap on a folder name shows its content in the windows
below. A option button, if select, allows to run the exe
files directly if you select one in the list.
FUNCTION 'DUPLICATE' : Allows user to see all duplicate on his CE unit.
Do not cancell the duplicate if you do not know well
what are you doing. In many cases they need to the system.
FUNCTION 'REFRESH' : Use it to reload system if you change something using
other programs than eVBPointer.
FUNCTION 'SAVE SYS' : Memorize all files in your unit in a text file in the temp
folder. You have to create it before use Check Sys.
If this file is missing the option button in the program
window is blank.
FUNCTION 'CHECK SYS' : Compare the last memorized data fles with the current
data loaded on starting the program. You can so see all
files Added or Canceled after the last Save Sys use.
(If you use it after a long time the function will require
also a long time)
FUNCTION 'Resources' : Shows the Battery state and the total memory percentage
used for both Storage and System use.
Be informed that on starting the program show the Hourglass for some seconds
while it is loading the current System data.
