the second try of Nokia to create a device like this one.
The device does not hide its willing to appear like a Pda instead of a Mobile

This represents the first device of this type with really a lot of services available
for the user as the S.E.910i it is a GPS device only. Well we can say that it is quite

SONY ERICSSON P910
Note: The SonyEricsson is a smartphone that uses the O.S. Symbian and of a screen
quite large showing 262000 colours. The device offers many useful services
and enable it to be considered a possible substitute of a Pda.
It is sold at high price and, as symbian does not make available a great quantity
of software as the othes O.S. it may happen to become a special product instead
of to compete with the other similar devices

PalmOne TREO650
Note: It is the last of the Treo family created by Handspring and now marled palmOne.
The previous model 600 has been appreciated particularly for irs form that was
nearest to a mobile phone that to a Pda (even if this forced the use a smallest
screen). The new version 650 is a very good device even if some changes relating
memory handling seems to cause a minor bug.

Windows O.S.
HTC Magician (aka qTek S100 or I.Mate JAM)
Note: If you see it you surely understand its coming from Pdas' world.
But you will note also it clean design and the reduced dimensions that meet
the smartphone world. It is anyway an elegant device even if many pda'users
will not appreciate the reduced display up to 2.8'.
It appear to be a good object and a real step to a new class of devices.

HTC Tornado (aka Qtek 8300-8310)
Note: Following the definitions this unit is a smartphone but, running WM 5.0 it will be the
first smartfone to be quite near a Pda. This is also due to the included WiFi.
The HTC again is working to get a correct unit in the convergence PdaPhone/smartphone
whatever will be the winning form factor.

MOTOROLA MPX
Note: It was borne as an innovative solution for Pda Phone.
But the producer forgot its use as Pda also so the pre release evidenced a too
small memory to let user to store his programs. This bug stopped the launch
to modify the amount of available memory. If it will be correctly adjusted this
can become a real innovative solution for the Pda phone edition to compete
with smartphone.
