Ecco qui un ottimo doppio cd raccolta che celebra quasi un ventennio di musica del gruppo dark wave dei "Black tape for a blue girl" La compilation raccoglie infatti tutto il meglio del gruppo dal 1986 al 2003 con alcuni brani di punta musicalmente veramente interessanti come l'eterea "Russia" e "One last breath" tanto per citarne alcuni insieme naturalmente a molti altri degni di nota. Da notare inoltre la suddivisione della raccolta in due parti, il primo cd raccoglie infatti alcune ottime interpretazioni vocali del gruppo mentre il secondo presenta alcuni ottimi strumentali che ricordano da vicino come genere musicale il noto artista elettronico sperimentale Steve Roach. Da notare peraltro la presenza di un suo ottimo remix nella prima traccia del secondo cd intitolata "Kinski". Tirando le somme dunque si tratta di una raccolta molto varia e ben strutturata con alcuni memorabili passaggi musicali e forse da considerarsi addirittura come l'essenza della musica gotica e dark wave!!!
