Il primo volume della serie Electopop presenta tutto il meglio della scena moderna elettronica alternativa con un occhio particolare al genere electroclash. Escludendo i soliti nomi della scena synthpop come De/vision, Frozen Plasma, Perfidious Words ed altri in questo doppio cd č possibile ascoltare infatti parecchi pezzi dedicati ad un pop elettronico pių sperimentale con artisti come Frittenbude, 2 Raumwohnung ecc. Una raccolta dunque piuttosto variegata che potrebbe non piacere a tutti ma che senza dubbio offre alcuni spunti elettronici interessanti.
