Tra i gruppi che si sono fatti largo nel periodo New Wave ottantistico non potevano mancare di certo all'appello gli Ultravox del mitico Midge Ure. La band elettronica inglese (del periodo Ure) ha prodotto infatti un buon numero di albums e singoli di successo tra i quali "Vienna", "Hymn" e "Dancing With Tears In My Eyes" insieme ad altri ottimi pezzi caratterizzati da sonorità tipicamente synthpop. La raccolta "The Very Best Of" oltrechè contenere i pezzi citati raccoglie tutto il meglio del gruppo insieme ad un ottimo DVD video con tutti i videoclips promozionali prodotti dalla band in quegli anni. Tirando le somme l'azzeccato connubio CD+DVD rappresenta ancora una volta un valido punto di partenza per chi vuole arrivare a conoscere da vicino questo indimenticato gruppo synthpop britannico.
