Description (1) The instrument, all in brass, is made of a pole that stands on a tripod with level screws. At half height there is a 24 cm diameter graduated circle, that rotates around the pole. A telescope that can rotate on a vertical plane is anchored to the circle. On the top of the pole we have a horizontal bar. At one end of this bar there is a 15 cm diameter circle that can rotate on a vertical plane. On the circle another telescope is anchored. At the other end of the bar, there is a balance weight. Two air-levels are placed horizontally on the bar. |
