Augsburg spoon this silver wedding spoon was made in Augsburg (Germany) between the end of 18th/beginning of 19th century.
It bears ancient Augsburg's hallmark and an Austrian import mark of the beginning of 20th century.
Three winged cupids fly over the bowl wich is embossed with Neptune holding a trident.
The spiral stem has the finial in the shape of an ancient explorer (likely Columbus) with an anchor and an aboriginal inhabitant crouched beside him.
The spoon is 8 in. long (cm. 20) and was bought from an Italian dealer at an Antique Fair. figural top handle
