this silver spoon has English import marks for 1892 but was made in a previous period and bears old Dutch hallmarks for Amsterdam (there are 10 marks overall). The spoon has the shape of an Apostle spoon, with the stem's finial with an human figure on the finial (very worn) and a skeleton on the base.
The spoon is 4 1/2 in. long (cm. 9) and was bought by an Italian dealer at an Antique Fair.
