Let me introduce myself:
my name is Guido Pasi,
I am forty years old and am a medical doctor, an orthopaedic surgeon
and live in Genova
Italy
on the Mediterranean sea.
I love climbing, I love sailing...

...and, most of all, since I was a child,
I love Astronomy!

Don't you feel the charm of the deep-sky?
Clusters, nebulae and galaxies,
far away in the space...
The telescopical observation is frequently disappointing, the objects are faint and elusive, just the photography let you see the beauty of the details.

This site is dedicated to astrophotography.
I would like to share the passion and the experience of my last years.
The pages of the images are its heart, not the words, just the images can give to you the sense of my work.
You can find both traditional film images and the new CCD images realized in the last years.
By photos' side there are the tecnical pages: in observatory you will find a description of my telescope with some notes about the configuration that I use for photography and in techniques I describe some useful expedient I have learnt.

Finally I have collected my preferred astronomical (and not!) links on the web.
