Bands used: VHF 0.5 to 5W
Antenna: 5 el. Yagi-Uda DK7ZB 2m boom
Open to: 360 degrees, with varying amounts of mountains between you and other stations.
DX: 1024 km (Sicily Is.).
Facilities: none. You need to bring all the equipment to erect the antenna.
Comments: from my experience it is a very good location if your target is not North of the Alps. France is around the corner and is workable if stations beam to you. 2h drive from Torino plus 2h hike. The summit also allows for HF wire antennas (dipole or sloping wires).
GSM coverage: Vodafone was there (8/2008).
