To install the linux version, decompress the tar file (Right click and click on extract here), right click, then click on ¨open a terminal here¨ and type ./INSTALL; follow the on screen instructions. Remember that you must be root to install in /usr/local.
To enable the Netscape plugin, open the Acrobat Reader®  directory, open the Browser/intellinux directory, and copy the nppdf.so file to the plugins subdirectory of your Netscape® installation directory.
