UNICON

the first universal SPDIF TTL/COAX (RCA) <-> TOSlink Converter
for your Computer Slot!

You would like to use your sound card's SPDIF interface with a MD-Recorder and now look for the TOSlink in/out ...

But unfortunately the producer forgot these connectors for a reason of 'costs'...?

Ok!

Our UNICON converts the SPDIF signals of your sound card, the CDROM or external digital sources to the well spread TOSlink standard.
One big advantage respective to normal converters is the fact that you don't need an external power supply or other cable chaos.
The price is also very attractive: it is just slot architecture, but you achieve a full valuable two-way converter.

A small example for the usage:

The UNICON has been succesfully tested with various hardware components, e.g.

AudioExcel AV510, AV511, SBlive! (full version), PC-Chips Motherboards sound on board, Asus P5AB-Sound Motherboard, PC-Chips sound cards as well as VideoLogic DVD Player...

Ok, now a photo for all who already plan how to include their new UNICON best:

The concept of the UNICON:

Technical Data:

The UNICON works at all sample rates your sound-hardware delivers.
This means 32kHz, 44.1kHz as well as 48kHz. And also in future times there are problems concerning the sampling rate bandwidth e.g. for the DVD with 96kHz.
