"A STORY TO INVENT"

INTRODUCTION

Project work helps all students to work co - opereretivily together and to share their skills and experience. It is a very good opportunity for weaker language students to improve their English knowledge. Criteria for succesful project work : every student in the class deservesto learn. All the activities therefore need to start at a point that is achievable for all students. Everyone needs to get into the lift to start with. When the whole class is in the lift, some may reach the top, some may stop at the second floor, but everyone has successfully travelled somewhere.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

To feel good at school
To help primary school students to be familiar with english to avoid some difficolties at "scuola media".
To develope socialization.
To facilitate the weaker students to pass from one order of school to the following one.
To stimulate the study of Engqlish/French language trough different and interesting activities.
To comunicate in different languages

ACHIEVABLE OBJECTIVES

To develop fluency
To increase vocabulary
To use communicative functions and learn new ones
To reflect on grammar rules

OPERATIVE TOOLS
Starting from a hypertext map we have created information, we have written the texts and we have drawn pictures and taken photos. After that we have used the scanner with the Photoshop program by Adobe and we have built a hypertext with Front Page editor by Microsoft.

METHODOLOGY
Student have met in the spaces of the school (classroom or multimedial lab) and they have participated at the project with the help of their teachers. Starting from the brainstorming activity students have expressed their knowledge and perceptions, then they have discussed and compared their ideas, identifying, some key-words. A hypertextual map has been realised and followed to create a simple hypertext in the European languages
