Un aria molto difficile, un vero "tour de force".Io sono
un clown che esce di fronte al
pubblico all'inizio dell'opera appartenente al cosiddetto
"verismo", "I Pagliacci" mentre
il sipario è ancora abbassato. Dico al pubblico che
stanno per vedere sangue, lacrime ed emozioni veramente
forti, come succede spesso nella vita vera. Quindi facciamo
iniziare lo spettacolo..."Andiam, incominciate!"

An extremely demanding aria, a real "tour de force". I'm
a clown who comes out in front
of an audience at the beginning of the
"verismo" opera "I Pagliacci"
(it means "The Clowns") as the curtain is still closed. I
tell the audience that they are about to see blood, tears
and really strong emotions as it happens often in real life.
So let the drama begin..."Andiam, incominciate!"
