A stolen day
I stole a day from my everyday occupations and usual routine I did it because I meant to discover a place capable to remind me my childhood, when I used to run in the fields hunting for lizards and every stone or animal I saw inspired my soul With these thoughts in my mind I resolutely headed to the Plateau it was an unknown place to me abandoned fields, shining rocks and ancient stones offered to my sight, while a furious and defiant wind made me shiver with cold With my camera I took lots of photos to be exact I took three long rolls Finally in that solitary place, where there was no human trace, I caught in the cracks along the walls of the ancient Sanctuary, in the cloudless sky, among the dark shadows of the twilight, a peace and a silence I hadnt known for too long The site that once upon a time used to be inhabited was very few miles away but everything seemed so distant and, because of the loveliness of the place, even God is supposed to have stolen a day from Creation to create it.
