Pro Football Weekly Mock Draft
By Joel Buchsbaum, Contributing editor of Pro Football Weekly
March. 23, 2000

Unless Peter Warrick has a sensational personal workout for the Browns, Cleveland will pass on the Florida State wideout and take one of the two Penn State defenders — OLB LaVar Arrington or DE Courtney Brown — with the first overall pick. And unless Alabama OLT Chris Samuels fails his physical or has a poor workout, Warrick will fall to the fourth slot and possibly even lower than that.

Please note that this mock draft was done almost a month before the draft. Free-agent signings, trades and workouts will still have a dramatic impact on the pecking order.
