"What makes football a thrill for me is that I meet such great people. When people stop me on the street and tell me they enjoy the 49ers, that gives me a big thrill. It's exciting to know that people enjoy watching us play and really care how we do. I know that these people are counting on us to perform our best. The only thing that I can promise them is we're going to play our butts off".
