1. Houston Texans - David Carr QB Fresno State
Needs - Every Position
With the Texans taking offensive tackles with their first two picks in the expansion draft, I think Carr is a lock to be selected here.

2. Carolina Panthers - Julius Peppers DE North Carolina
Needs - DE, DT, RB, CB, OG, LB
Carolina will be thrilled when the Texans pass on the most feared pass rusher in college football.

3. Detroit Lions - Roy Williams S Oklahoma
Needs - CB, LB, OG, WR, TE, DE
The Lions are sending signals that they might draft Joey Harrington here, but I think they're blowing smoke in the hopes that another team will want to trade up. The Lions might be able to slip down a little in the standings and still get an impact player on defense.

4. Buffalo Bills - Joey Harrington QB Oregon
Needs - OT, QB, DT, SS, LB
Harrington's stock has been on the rise and Rob Johnson is out of the picture, so this looks like a perfect fit. 

5. San Diego Chargers - Bryant McKinnie OT Miami 
Needs - OT, WR, OG, CB, TE, C
Offensive tackle is a big need for the Chargers and McKinnie would be a solid anchor for the next decade!

6. Dallas Cowboys - Quentin Jammer CB Texas 
Needs - CB, TE, DT, DE, FS
Jerry Jones would love to land a shut-down type of corner, and Jammer out of Texas is a perfect fit. By the way... what a great name for an NFL cornerback!

7. Minnesota Vikings - Mike Williams OT Texas
Needs - OT, OG, FS, LB, CB
The Vikings need help on the offensive line more than on the defensive side of the ball, so I think they go for the best offensive tackle available here!

8. Kansas City Chiefs - Albert Haynesworth DT Tennessee
Needs - DT, WR, OG, QB
Has great size and plays with tremendous quickness for a big man!

9. Jacksonville Jaguars - John Henderson DT Tennessee
Needs - OG, S, LB, DE, DT, WR, TE
Henderson should be a dominating interior lineman

10. Cincinnati Bengals - Phillip Buchanon CB Miami
Needs - CB, QB, OG, OT, C, TE, DE
The Bengals need serious help in their secondary!

11. Indianapolis Colts - Wendell Bryant DT Wisconsin
Needs - DT, DE, CB, OT, LB
Run-stopper with good upfield burst! 

12. Arizona Cardinals - William Green RB Boston College
Needs - DT, DE, LB, TE
Possesses outstanding lower-body strength and power when running inside. Shows excellent vision, change-of-direction skills and a solid burst through the hole. 

13. New Orleans Saints - Jabar Gaffney WR Florida 
Needs - OT, CB, WR, TE, LB
Not the Saints biggest need, but Gaffney is a very talented receiver.

14. Tennessee Titans - Lito Sheppard CB Florida
Needs - S, CB, OG, WR, DT
Tennessee needs a complete overhaul on defense!

15. N.Y. Giants - Jeremy Shockey TE Miami
Needs - TE, OG, DT, OT
Excellent size and speed with soft hands as a receiver.

16. Cleveland Browns - T.J. Duckett RB Michigan State
Needs - OT, RB, LB, OG, S
Duckett is a powerful back with deceptive speed!

17. Atlanta Falcons - Donté Stallworth WR Tennessee
Needs - WR, OG, CB
Stallworth will give Michael Vick a big target with great leaping ability.

18. Washington Redskins - Dennis Johnson DE Kentucky
Needs - DT, DE, QB, OG, S
Johnson would be a good fit, but will Spurrier go for defense with his first pick?

19. Denver Broncos - Ashley Lelie WR Hawaii
Needs - DE, OT, S, WR, TE
The loss of Ed McCaffrey last season exposed a lack of depth at wide receiver.

20. Seattle Seahawks - Ryan Sims DT North Carolina 
Needs - DE, S, DT, TE, CB
Chad Eaton and John Randle are getting old and the line lacks depth overall. A lineman here makes a lot of sense.

21. Oakland Raiders - Napoleon Harris OLB Northwestern 
Needs - DT, S, LB, WR, OG, CB
The Raiders' linebacking corps could use some fresh legs!

22. N.Y. Jets - Anthony Weaver DT Notre Dame
Needs - DT, S, WR, OL, 
The switch to a 4-3 defense leads me to believe the Jets will pick up a tackle here.

23. Oakland Raiders (From Tampa Bay) - Toniu Fonoti OG Nebraska
Needs - DT, S, LB, WR, OG, CB
Fonoti is a wide body with natural strength and power.

24. Baltimore Ravens - Mike Pearson OT Florida
Needs - OT, OG, DT, RB, WR
The Ravens are desperate for help on the offensive line, and Pearson will be the best lineman available at this pick.

25. New Orleans Saints (From Miami) - Marc Columbo OT Boston College 
Needs - OT, CB, WR, TE, LB, DT
Does a great job keeping defensive ends at bay in pass-blocking situations.

26. Philadelphia Eagles - Andre Gurode OG Colorado
Needs - DT, OG, LB, C, CB
A lineman with Gurode's ability and versatility would be tough to pass on at this point!

27. San Francisco 49ers - Edward Reed S Miami
Needs - OT, S, WR, CB, OG
The 49ers' decision should be fairly simple with this pick.

28. Green Bay Packers - DeShaun Foster RB UCLA 
Needs - WR, OT, DT, QB, RB
Ahman Green is the feature back for the Packers, but they could use some fresh legs to spell him on occassion.

29. Chicago Bears - Levi Jones OT Arizona State 
Needs - DE, CB, QB, S, OT, TE
With the release of Blake Brockermeyer, the Bears may select an offensive tackle with their first pick. 

30. Pittsburgh Steelers - Daniel Graham TE Colorado
Needs - LB, TE, S, WR, K
Talented receiver could add another dimension to the offense. 

31. St. Louis Rams - Reche Caldwell WR Florida
Needs - WR, DE, DT, CB, 
Good speed and runs well after the catch. He should fit well into the Rams' system.

32. New England Patriots - Kalimba Edwards DE South Carolina 
Needs - TE, LB, DE, RB, WR
Has a rare combination of size, speed and athletic ability, and is an extremely productive edge rusher.
